News Pitches
1. I already have my interview of Larence Zupan in final cut pro and I have been working on editing it. I just started but I think that the interview came out really well.
2. I want to interview Brad Peacock about his senate race and what it has been like going through the race as an independent candidate. I know that he was inspired by Bernie Sanders, and I want to talk to him about what it has been like running against the person who inspired him so much. It will be an easy interview to get because his mom works at the school.
3. At some point, I would like to go up to Montpelier to talk with the governor about the midterm elections, what he would do with a new term, the marijuana law etc.
News week​
This is the rough cut of the interview that I did with Lawrence Zupan. I think that the interview went really well. It was the first time that I had really done with someone like that, and I was really nervous. That said, I think that I still asked good questions and he gave great answers. All of his answers were really well thought out and they made for a great interview. I've also been really busy with both the fall film and the Gawliks. I spent a good chunk of last weeks classes trying to plan for the weekend and the filming that we were going to be doing then. Abby and I planned well for the shoot and went into it feeling pretty good, but it definitely could have gone better. That said, I think that we learned a lot from it. In the future, we are going to go into it with a much better process for executing our plan. We are going to outline the roles of the crew better and come at it overall more organized. I think that organization is where it all fell apart this weekend.
